a mix of a stool and a table for studying on the floor - Cooperation with Montessori

In Montessori schools most of the lessons take place on the floor, then the children can move and behave more naturally. While working with the children I have noticed that studying on the floor is not comfortable for writing, so I designed a table for them. The tool I made has a radial shape, it’s made of felt and wood so it’s a combination of hard and soft materials. the children can roll it on the floor in order to move it into the classroom. they grab the table with their legs and if they don't want to sit on the floor they can flip it and sit on the soft side. The soft side is rounded so it’s easy to change the angle of the working surface and adjust it to the right position.
